...................the Mens Winter Olympics is going to start? Every time I put the games on, it's a womens' event, or women interviewers or women on the panel in the studio, or women covering it in the radio and women complaining that their make up is freezing on their faces. So when do the mens' events begin? I'm sure I saw one or two of them in the GB team at the opening ceremony.
the mens' half pipe snowboarding a few days ago was superb. You are clearly watching at the wrong time. i have a feeling (although no evidence) that GB women do far better than men in the winter Olympics If i think of medals won in the past i think of the tea-tray lady and the curling women. I can't think of any GB men off the top of my head who have covered themselves with winter olympic glory.
Not so much glory but he did manage to fund himself and give it his best without sobbing his heart out like there had been a death in the family for the cameras when it didn't work out.
it is pretty difficult to tell wether some of the events are male or female as everyone is covered from head to toe in the same sotyle of outfit and wearing helmets/hoods and sun visors. If you look carefully though from some camera angles you can spot the men when they sit on their trays/toboggans in their lycra
didnt he "give it his best" and come last?
you also cant tell with the snowboarders as they wear super baggy stuff, and a lot of the men have long hair
Poor old Clarion, suitably outraged that 50% of the population are getting some air time. I've been watching our men crashing on their snowboards, our chappie getting a bronze for advanced tea tray sliding etc, then it seems some women want to get in the action...it's a disgrace.
