1. Southampton and Swansea must draw when they play each other
and then lose their last match each. A win for either Southampton or Swansea on Tuesday night and the baggies are doomed

2, If it is a draw both Southampton and Swansea must lose their final match each, whilst the baggies win theirs.

Not only do they have to win, but also overturn a 4 goal deficit in goal difference. ie they win 2 - 0 and Southampton lose 2- 0

Whilst I think they have little chance to survive - it is a lot better than 3 weeks ago
I don’t think so, Swansea could tho

i´m realistic, i accepted relegation months ago, and i still have to accept relegation, but one thing is certain, Our pride has been restored.
I doubt it, but I'm enjoying the ride.

I thought we were gone last night but good old Everton equalised.

Darren Moore must surely be Prem manager of the month. Not yet though please, that's normally the kiss of death to whoever gets it.
It also needs Stoke to win away at Swansea.

Fat chance, given Stoke's form.

Perhaps though Stoke players might realise they are in the shop window to be bought, and turn it on.
As long as there's still a mathematical possibility, there's still hope for you :)

JJ109 has summed it up nicely, but let's have a look at the fixtures:

Swansea host Southampton on Tues night and a draw is a must for the Baggies survival.

Sunday:
West Brom must win at Crystal Palace;
Swansea must lose at home to already-relegated Stoke city;
Southampton must lose at home to champions Manchester City.

Plus they need to make up a 4 goal deficit that Southampton have.

Possible ..... but very unlikely in my opinion :(
Darren Moore, is a great manager. If I was a baggies supporter I'd have chosen him years ago... beware though Man City can and will buy anyone.
I can't see Darren replacing Pep, Arky.
Me either Hoppy, I'd actually rather your team stayed up in the Prem... although mathematically still possible... I did think you were done and dusted
Last time we did the great escape it was Southampton that went down instead of us (with Harry Rednapp in the hotseat)

We beat Portsmouth to send them down. The Pompey fans were cheering

Our fate sealed tonight
Oh dear !
Can't believe how Darren Moore has turned them around though, he should definitely get the managers job.
A good effort but much too late in the day. But all you Baggies fans shouldn't be too downhearted because taking that form into the Championship should see you bounce back. Try and look forward to this time next year, not backwards to this one. Good luck next season. We want you back at OT so we can get our own back!
should see you bounce back.

Boing Boing.
Ah well. We tried.
