Has been diagnosed with Concussion, in America, which definitely contributed to his performance in the Champions League Final. Bit too late for the Liverpool fans to hear, but it explains quite a lot.

Wonder what Liverpool will do with him over the Summer...

Does this imply that snr ramos should've been done for gbh and not a champions league winner.
Or does it suggest that vanity sends a rich sportsman off to buy an excuse for poor performance?

I'm not saying that's what happened, just putting an alternative possibility.
My first reaction was ..."yeah! right." but on further reflection that could certainly be a possibility.

Was he concussed? He might well have been.
If he was concussed.....did he suffer that visual abnormality?

I will give him the benefit of the doubt......it was a possibility.

It is a possibility, of course, Douglas, but would that not lead to even more ridicule for the unfortunate Karius. Even IF he was diagnosed with concussion, he should not have made that public - or allowed the club to do so. When footballers make horrendous mistakes or errors of judgement, they should just hold up their hands and apologise. Remember how Luis Suarez was taken to pieces by press and fans alike after his ridiculous excuse for the biting incident. Karius, apparently, had a very good season for Liverpool and i hope, for his sake, that he plays an absolute blinder in his next game. Just remains to be seen which team's goal he will be protecting:-/
Don't give Littlepool any excuse mate they were *** simple as.
Firstly, from memory, did van Dyke not push Ramos into Karius?
Secondly, if Karius was playing with concussion are Liverpool FC not at fault? Should their medical team not pick up on this during the match?
If that was an unbiased assessment of the match, Ark, it would be acceptable. However, it is not. It is instead the default setting from a Man U fan and as such bears no weight whatsoever :-):-)
Douglas has hit the nail on the head
Haggis; they could only have detected it during the match if the 'keeper himself complained of impaired vision or some such. To the best of my knowledge, he didn't. His fumbling attempt to stop Bale's 2nd goal may have had nothing whatsoever to do with concussion. He may well have been focussing his attention on that fit bird in Row 'Z'.
He's trying to rescue his career
Lesser of two evils, I hate real Madrid... and the rivalry as no bearing on any excuse Liverpool fans will make up.
Hopkirk; if Liverpool do decide to move him on, i'm sure there will be any number of clubs willing to part with the cash to secure his services. As i said earlier, he did (apparently) have a good season. He just chose the wrong match to make those 2 gaffes.
Come on, Arky. Admit it. You have a dozen or so voodoo dolls - kitted out in Liverpool colours - in your house. All with at least a thousand pins apiece in them :-) :-)
Lol of course not, I did however drop (accidentaly) a Liverpool mug when around at bro's a week or so even before the FA cup final it totally shattered. He told his wife off.. lol and I'd admitted to being my fault.
Ha, i mentioned Voodoo Dolls this morning, then while perusing today's nags, come across Voodoo Doll running in the 3.30 at Bangor. Being the mug punter that i am, i thought the coincidence too good to pass up so i put a couple of quid on it. Won @ 8/1 :-) :-)
Double Spread on ex-Claret Joey Barton taking over at Fleetwood in this morning's Mirror. Lo and behold, just seen Barton Rose in the 6.30 at Southwell. Another mug bet on the way :-)
/// Douglas has hit the nail on the head ///

Presumably the nail now has concussion ;-D
