Great spectator sport. I Watched Galway v Clare yesterday in the all Ireland semis and have been watching Cork v Limerick this afternoon. Best spectator sport to have been on all weekend. Some handy lads on the field, hard as nails and their spatial skills are remarkable. Bet Boaty is watching, I seem to remember he was a fan.

My husband used to hurl. After he’s had a short haircut, you can see all the scars in his head.

My uncle used to play for Tipperary. Been to quite a few matches, great game, bit dangerous though.

Bit Dangerous? Understatement there Ummmm, downright deadly with those shillelaghs waving about and no discernable rules regarding body contact. Like I said handy lads.
Exciting isn't it!
No diving and try to con the ref either
Mr T's dad was from Limerick. Mr T is a happy man.

Well Limerick go through there thing is, yesterdays game was tied after extra time. Wonder when they replay, if they do.
They do replay, Togo. I just asked Mr T.

Just had a quick look and it looks like a replay next weekend. Yesterdays game was a classic.
We were in Ennis one year, when Clare beat Galway in the final. What a night that was. I don't remember a great deal about it but I do remember how I felt the next afternoon when I woke up. :-(
were you up all night hurling, Tilly?

Mr T Tills. Wasn't he in the A Team?
On not in
No, Jno. I think I was unconscious. The hurling began the following afternoon.
He still is, Togo. My A Team. :-)

Haha Rocky that was a bit Freudian :))

Rocky gets an early BA because it made perfect sense before the correction once you have watched them play.
Yes, good choice. It made me laugh.
Rocky - my dad got most of his top teeth knocked out. They still play on though.
Watch the hurling ? I didn't even see the excess consumption beforehand !

If looking for a less interesting spectator sport I think one of my local shops must qualify as advertising the worst. It has a sign saying, "Watch battery replacement here."
