Morning, Togo. Not looked at the geegees yet but will do so once i've taken Milo for his 2nd walk of the morning. Spent about 90 minutes (appropriately enough) studying for my football bets and will most likely spend just as much studying this afternoon's cards. It's a hard life :-)
Had a pop at 9 homes Ken. Liverpool, Watford, Millwall, Swansea, Barnsley, Sunderland, Newport County, Leyton Orient, and Salford City. £5.00 to pay £396.76.
Having placed all my football and afternoon race bets, there was a lonely little £3 sat on it's own in my Betfred account. So, i quickly scanned down the fixtures and recent form figures in today's Mirror and have come up with these home wins;
Phew Ken. I did something today that I just do not do. I cashed out for £72 with 8 up and Salford drawing. Blow me if Morecambe didn't snatch a draw as well. Result. Think I will stick with the football punt. Mind you my ticker is banging . Haha.
Well done, Togo. Nowhere near a cash-out offer with my home wins - 4 let me down in the end. As for the either half bet, just 7/12. Must do better, as they say. Roll on next week :-)
It was very strange Ken but you may have an insight. I never look for the cash out option ( I don't do many football bets) but today I watched the slip and the cash out figure creeping up in pennies. When it got to the first 8 ahead but Salford drawing, it crept up to £85 quid and I sort of thought......hmmmm if it gets to a ton I will take it. Then without any change in the results showing the figure started to drop very quickly. When it hit £72, I took it. 3 Minutes later Morecambe equalized. Beggar me I thought does the bookie have a watcher at every game and were they in the know that a team looked likely to score? At the time 3 of the scores were 1-0, but to my advantage.
