I don't think one game is enough to go on, or even one series against the WI.
We are ranked first in teh world at 50 overs bout only 4th at 20-20.

...which suggests we need more balls.

But yes if you look at full test cricket we are ranked 5, which suggests we are better with fewer balls up to a point.

PS- we don't need subcategories for Sport (or other categories) when the overall category gets so few questions

it's ODIs they need to be winning, as the world cup is coming up very soon..

The shorter the format, the more luck and chance are likely to play a role. Winnning or losing a T20 doesn't prove you're good or bad at the format; you could argue it was just Bairstow finally having a good day.

it is customary for Englishmen to feign sleep during an Ashes series. However, this year's series at least shouldn't be a whitewash, unlike the last.
