Yes, they played really well for the most part but, to be brutally honest, wasn't the semi-finals the least we expected. A fairly easy group to win and though Norway are usually a very well organised side, particularly in defence, they are quite predictable. For the sake of the competition as a whole, i would like to meet hosts France in the semi, although beating the USA to reach the final would be quite good:-)
Lots of respect for Neville, a man who has won pretty much all there is to be won. Wonder how many of his ilk would have taken on the job of Head Coach of the Lionesses?

There has been nous, technique, effort, passion, great defending and some superb goals. Of course there has also been some naivety, poor passing, apathy, schoolyard defending and lucky goals. Bit like the Prem, really! I think you need to get used to the idea that women's football is here and, as long as it continues to improve, it's here to stay.
