Wow - my adopted country has just rolled over England for 85 all out ... not a fluke either, just a fantastic bowling performance.
I think I’ve already let the cat out of the bag elsewhere :-)
I went to have a nap and it seems I've missed it all.

It's only a four day match, controversial in itself, but as it's unlikely to go on that long...
Wouldn't be the first time in recent months the mighty English have been humbled by Irish questions...

England a bit sloppy (post World Cup blues?) - but Tim Murtagh swinging the ball nicely and backed up by young Adair and big Rankin - a joy to watch.
What a brilliant morning of cricket...... Murtagh deserves a huge dessert...... :-)
Murtagh was a star against Zimbabwe recently in the ODIs
This is a bit different tho.

At 37 years young he can have two puddings :)
The Kalahari?
I didn't know it was so entertaining... listening to it... so funny.
Oh dear.
I know they’re not all the same players that were in the World Cup side, but ,goodness, England can go from amazing to terrible in no time.

I didn’t actually see England’s innings. I was just reminded of it by this thread.
I'll admit to knowing very Little about cricket, However in football mainly you qualify to play for your country if your grand parents were born there etc... however in Cricket to me seems a free for all.
i think it is only jofra archer who was not born in the UK.
And his dad is English.
Spath, his father is English born which allows Jofra to play for England.

Ireland rolling along nicely - already well past England’s score and only two wickets down at tea.

England must be getting all the CalypsoCollapso out of their system before The Ashes series starts next week ... possibly.
I'm sure the Aussies won't have a demon bowler like Murtagh in their ranks, just trundlers like Starc.
Jofra Archer qualified through residency which was reduced from seven years to three years last year.
What a fantastic day of cricket....even down to the singing of The Fields of Athenry....... at Lord's......bliss...... :-)
Did the England team turn up ?
