I think this is incredibly sad for the town, the supporters and especially those employed at the club.
However, once the dust has settled and the truth comes out, all might not be lost. There is a chance that a new club ('Bury Town' or something similar) might be able to be formed if enough people are willing to work to make it happen - it would not be the first time a new club rose from the ashes of the old:

I've just seen an interview (On Twitter) with Steve Dale where he said (With almost a smirk on his face) "I've never been to Bury. I've got not reason to go there. I didn't even know they had a Football team. I'm not a Football fan."
He then had a go at the poor fans for letting the club down with their `drunken behaviour'
TTT; "They could buy the club for a few hundred each." Bury's average attendance last season was 4,044. Multiply that by a few hundred and it won't come anywhere near the total they needed.
"I've never been to Bury. I've got not reason to go there. I didn't even know they had a Football team. I'm not a Football fan."
Good grief I was opposed to the Glazers buying united but even so I can't recall anyone of them saying something like that. I know its different media these days but wow words fail me as well Stephen...
Perhaps Gromits comment on the previous page may happen.
the EFC have a lot to answer for.
Are they the mob who ran the due diligence to say that Mr Gale was fit and proper?
If they are and as he said what he said (re Stephen_G's post) - I hope a lot of dirt comes out.
Won't get Bury back tho.
