alba the rules state that they will be cancelled and not postponed
thanks Johnny. in that case, oh poo and fiddlesticks.

Safety for everyone comes first tho.
There was talk of moving the Ireland game at one point.
I think it’s fair (and indeed necessary) to have a rule which specifies what happens on the event of a cancelled match, but I think they did look at rescheduling the England and New Zealand games but decided it was not feasible.
what I don't get is they've cancelled 2 of the games on Saturday but not the Ireland game. I assume they have the timetable from the Typhoon and it'll be finished by 11:45am!
jordy: "never heard much nice things said about the English south of Newcastle. " - but every time I say the Scots hate the English I get a load of Scots telling me how much they love us, make your mind up sunshine!
TTT, maybe in that part of Japan not expected to be affected by the typhoon?
The tournament will be seriously compromised if Japan v Scotland can’t take place. One of the few really meaningful and competitive group games and most anticipated especially by the home fans. It is hard to credit that they could not find some way of rescheduling it even if it has to be played behind closed doors (a bit extreme)
