Still no sign of Italy ever being a serious force, so should they be kicked into touch?

And which one of the four 'Home' nations was, this year, beaten by all three of the rest?
how many world cup finals have the home nations been in? How many of them are England?
Quite...but what a glorious illustration of the biblical words, "How are the mighty fallen."
(No, they don't need a question-mark, as it is a statement that just happens to be presented in typically-biblical word-order.)
I'm sure you're hugely offended by what I said, and probably consider me one of your "anti-English" leftist facists (neither of which I particularly care about), but 1. it was intended as a joke and 2. England have been completely hopeless during this Six Nations campaign.
I thought Italy did alright in the first half.
It all went to rats hit in the second though.
My theory on this years comp is that the other home nations wanted to win and played their hearts out, England expected to win and were complacent.
they beat the French did they not, and they the French went on to beat Wales yesterday

I admit that i watched the England game against Ireland, and was not best pleased, England weren't playing well at all. I could say more but would likely be booted off the site.........
Mozz, your final sentence at 13.15 was precisely the point I was making, if that response was directed at me!
QM, sorry mate, it was aimed at Tora.
Don't know about Italy, but there are several England players who should be kicked into touch: Farrell and the trundling Billy Vunipola to start with. God forbid they should be picked for The Lions - I hope Gatland has more sense
No problem, Mozz.
There was talk of South Africa joining the Six Nations, that has been knocked on the head. Shame, I think that would have been great ... and Italy should have then been dropped from it.

That said, a long weekend trip to Rome to watch a near-guaranteed win for your team is one of rugby's great pleasures.
To paraphrase Horatio Nelson, " England expects every man to play 100% and win every time".
