NJ.....they are not champions of anything yet.
They qualified for this competition called the Champions League by virtue of coming into the top 4 of last seasons Premier League.
The winners will fight it out at the end of May in Istanbul.

NJ's point is that neither of the teams are champions of anything - hence 'Champions League' is a misnomer. The old European Cup was only contested by teams that had won their country's top division. Ah yes, it's all about money, ain't it?

Which team is going to manage to get more of their travelling fans to catch covid in Turkey?

Up to 8,000 fans (4,000 from each club) are expected to be able to get tickets for the final. While the Turkish FA will have been planning for this final for some time, i do hope that, given the current Covid climate, they agree to switching the match to Wembley. And, should they do so, i hope they are fully compensated.

They haven't been allowed to go - yet! The 8,000 is the ticket allocation, brainiac. I suppose they could ask all those expecting to travel to prove they are Covid free before flying out, then take another test when they come back before being billeted at places such as Thiepval Barracks while the results are known/or for 14 days:-)

You'll be even more confused next season NJ when it is expanded by another 4 teams, two of which will not have qualified in the normal way but will have the highest EUFA co-efficient, based on their past performances in the competition.
