I've not really had a proper look yet, posty, waiting to see if any of the firms come up with irresistible offers :-) However, just had a quick peek at Oddschecker which tells me MBappe can be got at 11/1 with both Unibet and SBK, neither of which i use, but is a general 9/1 with most of the others. France are 9/2 - 5/1 to win outright. With Willy Hill, France win/Mbappe Golden Boot is 20/1.
Using a chart provided by one of the newspapers, i have tried to map out each teams progress. However, after the group stages, it becomes a tad difficult as 4 of the 1st round ko games involve teams who finished 1, 2 or 3 in their groups.
I have us down to face France in the 1st round ko and, only by the virtue of the match taking place on home soil at Wembley, i have tentatively put us through to the QF against Spain. Again i believe home advantage will see us through but then we meet Belgium in the semi final and i do believe that's where we part company with the tournament.
My two finalists are Belgium and Germany.
Having slept on it, so to speak, my mind is made up and i believe Belgium will win Euro 2020. The best price i can get with my existing accounts is 6/1 (available @ 7s with a few other firms) but i won't be placing the bet just yet as i may come across a 'special' before the tournament gets under way.
The 6/1 on Belgium to win hasn't changed within any of the firms i use, but i have taken advantage of Willy Hill's offer. Stake a £10 win, or £5 each way, on the selection of your choice and you will receive a £5 free bet per each game they win. Now, before any pedantic bright spark comes along and points out that free bets are not cash, cash can be won with free bets.
£10 win Belgium @ 6/1 - poss return of £70.
Given the above bet, it would be prudent of me to go for Romalu Lukaku as top scorer but, again, i am waiting to see if his price changes or any offers come along.
Knew if i waited i'd discover a decent 'offer'. Sky are offering to award a £3 free bet for every goal scored by selected Golden Boot contender, to a £10 stake.
£10 Romalu Lukaku to win Golden Boot @ 13/2 = poss return £75
