On early today 'cos i'm out for a family get together later. Eldest grand-daughter is off to uni soon and we are giving her a bit of a send of with a meal and a few bevvies. However, if i get 'the taste' (and the chances of that are high as i used to be a bit of a p-artist back in the day) then, in the words of Captain Oates, 'i may be some time' :-) So i'm having to do all my usual Saturday stuff now; horses, football, lotteries, etc, etc.

ITV 7; Scots Grace, Valley Forge, Hukum, Autumn War, Alfaadehl, Starman and Top Secret. Taken both Valley Forge and Starman out and done the remaining 5 in a £1 e.w. acca.

Today's stats are quite weak as regards the nags - strongest is Roger Varian winning the 3.10 on 3 prior occasions; '14, '18 & '19 - but a very strong stat did emerge on the football front. The last 6 occasions when Wimbledon have hosted Oxford, the final score has been 2-1 to one or the other, 4 times to the home side, 2 to the away team. True, this sequence will eventually come to an end (and that may well be today) but i probably said the same thing last season! Unlike the bookies (who have the away side as favs) i have gone with Wimbledon (because of their home advantage) who are 10/1 to win 2-1 with Bet365. Oxford are 17/2 and i will be having a saver on them - just haven't decided how much:-)

Haha ... Have a good afternoon Ken. Been busy in the garden tidying ups myself. Tons of broad Beans and Runner Beans . Bit of braised steak tomorrow with some of them. Some nice handicap races scattered through the meetings and the ITV7 manages to miss most of em. What is the matter with them? Done the ITV7 anyway and left out the odds on runners in there from all bets. Trixie ⁕⁕⁕, Then an E/W Acca Doubles and Trebles.****
