is that connected to his playing career? It doesn't look as though it is. There's lots of fretting about long-term injury caused by collisions in rugby; but of course players can pick up unrelated conditions like this too.
So sad.
That being said, he still has a good sense of humour.

He got diagnosed 2 years after he stopped playing rugger. I'm not sure it's connected.
I had the pleasure of sitting next to Rob and his wife at a Hospital charity evening a few years ago. Lovely couple.
So sad...he's only 40. It's hereditary, isn't it?
