There are still weaknesses that need to be addressed if they are to get much further. The early game suggested they weren't taking their opponents seriously. France won't be that amenable. But nevertheless results are good so there's opportunity to continue building.

I did my own wall chart prior to the first game, trying to predict the outcome of each match. Obviously i did not predict the shock results, but i did predict 12 of the last 16. On my chart, i have France to beat England and further proceed to the final where they will meet Brazil - even had a fiver on it @ 16/1.
However, i would love England to beat France on Saturday but only if they then proceed to the final :-)

I had England to win @ Evens and i also took full advantage of one of Bet365's regular 'Bet Builders' @ 6/1 that England would qualify, Foden would have at least one assist and Kane would score a goal anytime in 90 mins.
Also won £50 on the French result with Mbappe anytime and France to Qualify.
Togo had the 3-0 result.
