The last player to touch it before it entered the goal. The referee is treated as part of the furniture in cases like these.

...looks like the red no 8.

It shouldn't be anyone's goal, should it? If the ref inadvertently gets involved in play, a drop ball is awarded to the side in possession. That's what happened in last night's Spurs match.

Prior to a rule change in 2019, you would have been correct, TTT. Just checked and the rule now is that the goal is declared null and void and a goal kick is awarded.

The goal is disallowed and play restarts with a dropped ball for the defending team goalkeeper in their penalty area."

Apologies for the partial double pasting, it would be a drop ball now but the video was posted four year ago and the law might have been different then.

Ok ken so the law has changed since I did my referee training in 1982! Oddly enough in the clip the ref seems to indicate goal so I guess this is before the change.

Shouldn't the ref have awarded the defending team a freekick as one of the attackers impeded the keeper?

The ref appeared to move his knee toward the ball deliberately.

Or you were the ref!

The match was in May 2019 and the Law changed from the following season.
