More Snooker Oddities....15 Red Clearance.....

We know the highest is 147 and that has been done many times but 72 is the lowest and I doubt that has been done but ironically I'd say it's a lot more difficult than a 147. What's the lowest 15 red clearance?

jj 15 red clearance means 15 reds + colour + all the colours.

It's 15 reds in one shot, followed by a yellow, followed by yellow to black, giving 44.

Pretty much impossible, but it's possible to pocket two reds several times in one clearance, so it could be possible to have a total clearance of under 72.

If there's no fouls involved and all are potted in a single break, the lowest possible break is fifteen Reds (15) two Yellows (4) and the remaining Colours (25) making a total of forty-four.

Mark Allen 2016 Northern Ireland Open had a total clearance of 109

A 15 red clearance means the reds are potted individually with colours. If 2 are potted at once it would be a 14 red clearance and so on.

The only 16 red clearance in a pro event was by Steve James in 1990, that was 135.
