not like arsenal to sign a small physically frail player who bottles it on the big occasion :) bit of a expense that on someone who no one had heard of until a year ago and played 2 good matches at the euros. still im sure wenger will have yet another excuse when arsenal end up without a pot to pish in as usual by seasons end :) while sky sports bleat on about what a fantastic young side they are ( something they have been for the last 4 years ) :) i actually think manures young players are better

Seems an odd signing with a frail midfield, but to be fair, Wenger's signings have usually been pretty good.
Wenger has got a keen eye for a player and will get the best from Arshavin - I think he's got a bargain when you compare him to another manager who will pay 20million for a player, keep him for 6 months, then sell him back for 11 million - very good business !!
take it u r not an Arsenal fan bob?

I just hope hes gonna be worth it.
he may be a good player, but yet another skilful playmaker that is afraid to 'pull the trigger' apart from van p, and adabayor (who couldnt hit a barn door, there is noone else willing to have a pop....so imo, useless...
