Can't these people just let this matter lie? Even for the non-west-ham fan and probably even for the Blades fan it's getting bloody irritating. have these people got no shame?

At the end of the day the only reason why they got relegated was because they played sh*t.

Well said Dave but are you a Blades fan?

..and further to you comment s who's to say that West Ham wouldn't have won without Tevez it's not as though they would have played those remaining fixtures with only ten men.

the fact is, the blades there not good enough to say in the prem, its not as if they play 12 men, jezzzz, what would off happend if every team that west ham beat sued them, the blades were not good enough, move on
They fielded an ineligible player, if you do that in the cup (F.A) you get kicked out.
He was West Ham's best player, how many games would they have won without him?
This has opened one big can of worms, everyone is going to be jumping on the bandwagon now

I heard on the radio the Sheffield United players are going to claim for loss of Premiership earnings after being relegated, 20 of them claiming around 10,000 per week each for the season after they dropped!
they kicked droylsden out of the cup ?

Now I might be wrong but didn't they field two illegible players.

Ric.ror, do you mean Mascherano? If yes then he didn't score the winning goals that mattered and as he went to a smaller club than Tevez, he hardly gets a mention these days.
What next ? All the people who bet on Sheffield staying up ?
KIDD72 that wouldn't be the Maschereno who was part of Saturdays 1-4 home defeat would it ?????////

Here come the bandwagons mentioned
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams /l/leeds_united/7949957.stm

Leeds want a piece of the action.

What next, the local hot dog sellers around Brammel Lane claiming the fact they had to put their prices down by 50p per burger as they were in the championship.

The premier league are to blame for all this, not West Ham or Sheff Utd. West Ham paid the price with a fine dictated by the powers that be. If they had just deducted points at the time, there wouldn't be the current mess there is. This latest out of court settlement to Sheff Utd opens up a huge can of worms and i can't see it being closed for a very long time.

Two facts remain from all this
1. West Ham should of had a points deduction at the time of being found out
2. Sheff Utd were not good enough and couldn't even get a draw at home to Wigan on the last day of the season to stay up. (Was that Tevez's or West Hams Fault??)
Seems strange that even though Mascareno (or whatever his name is) was illeligable it is still known as 'Tevez affair'. That would be the price for one player moving to the most successful premiership team of all time and the other player going to a far inferior team. Never mind at least Carlos can count his WINNERS medals
Looks as though your out of luck Dave it seems as though this story is going to run and run. (Can of worms has been Mentioned).

LOL @ Toon brilliant.

...and BillySugger... yep that be the one. so that's where he went LOL. Thanks for that :-)
