Having spent hours this morning trying to get through to puchase 2 tickets from the Liverpool FC website and on the phone, now I hear the message they are sold out !! Can anyone suggest an alternatve safe ticket site to use please ? I am reaching fever pitch now. .... Thanks
Are you a member of either club? I am a member of Manchester United. I put in my application for tickets five weeks before the match and I have always be successful. you cannot usually get tickets without being a member of the club and I have a feeling this applies to most clubs.
Before anyone starts I know that this a money-making rip-off but if you want to see the team play...
Hi Haggis,
My daughter is a member, but apparently tickets were not available until 8.15 this morning. The website link for members on line purchasing didnt work, and the phone service was appalling. I must have paid for our flights and tickets with the phone calls I made !!! Grrrrr
I should also have added, with the Liverpool v Newcastle Match Sold Out, apply for the Liverpool v Tottenham game now by Post (Sunday 24th May KO 1600) as you may be lucky enough to get hold of a spare Ticket.
Liverpool have a waiting list of approx 60,000 for Season Tickets. There is a waiting list of about 2 Years for Executive Boxes.
Tickets to All Matches are like Gold dust!!!!
Did you keep getting the message on the phone saying you were in a queue, just before they cut you off?!?! Annoying as hell. What you may consider is subscribing to the e-season ticket for a few quid a month. By doing so, they have 500 tickets for each game put aside for e-season ticket holders. You apply, then it goes in a ballot. Thats how I manage to get to go now.
Thanks all,
Yes, to most of the above
Looks like we will be watching the match in a pub around Anfield.... any suggestions ? We are flying over for the weekend, so I guess what we saved on air tickets 3 months ago will have to go toward the outrageous cost of a ticket site !! ( 280 is the cheapest so far.... ) We're not all millionaires in Jersey !!
keep looking on the website every day for the seating plan - there are always returned tickets and these will obviously be available at some time before the game - I assume you have a fancard or other membership.
hey foxy
i had this problem a few years ago, i tried to get liverpool vs chelski game and tickets were on sale for whole week, i tried every single day and had no luck at all, engaged all the time or a prerecorded message, then when i finally get through i get another pre recorded message saying tickets were all soldout. two weeks later i got my phone bill just calling liverpool line added up around 20!! :(
