Bad craic all round tho and in particular for Scottish Divisions and I daresay English as well as they relied quite heavily on the subsidy to entice good players.

I'm in a similar situation to Drisgirl and I'm not sure which way to jump. I subscribe to it for the Scottish football because most of the other channels show the English games but Setanta's mainly the only one with shows the SPL regularly.

The truth is that absolutely nobody knows yet what's going to happen although I agree that it looks very bad. I'm just wondering, though, now that they've lost the rights to the EPL games, they may carry on with the SPL?

Like you, Drisgirl, I'm going to suck it and see until something substantive happens. After all it's be a bit of a p!sser to bin your subscription only to find out the following week that a rescue package had been found.

I subscibe to setanta for the non league Blue Square games - usually a couple of games a week - coverage very good, although the camera angles could be improved. Would be sorry to see it go.

I have Setanta but get it free through Virgin Media.

Will miss it for some of the English Premier games and the boxing, but not worried about the Scottish Divisions as its not really entertaining football as we know it here.
