Just as well Martin Jol's not available as it would have saved you the disappointment when he turned you down.
The other names you've mentioned are more realistic with Steve Coppell the most experienced and in my opinion most capable also.
How about Gordon Strachan? He's available after walking out on Celtic and given that Mowbray's gone there wouldn't it be a tad ironic if Strachan ended up at the Hawthorns?
Or Alan Curbishley? Not a bad choice in anyone's book I'd say and also has Premiership experience, has been out of the game for a little while and is probably looking to get back in. You could do worse than him.
Another possibility could be the guy who has recently quit Aberdeen, Jimmy Calderwood? A very experienced manager who would not be out of place in charge of WBA.
I agree with you about Ince, not good enough, and hopefully they won't go either for the likes of Ian Dowie who couldn't manage a kindergarten. And I think it would also be a backward step if they brought Brian Robson back, Hawthorns hero though he still is.
