wife has died at the age of 42.

She had complications following liposuction a few years back and it would appear she didnt fully recover from corrective surgery.Lesson to be learnt -hindsight being one of them:(

She was from my neck of woods Dundee and they had 4 children together.

Sad day for the big man and his family.

The worst thing about all of this is that her death was so uneccessary,she didn't need liposuction at all!

Yeah, heard about it this afternoon. He might be an ex Ranger but the big man must be devastated. She fought bravely for nearly seven years.

She paid the ultimate price -caught in a vicious circle and now ..........:(

The big man was a tower of strength throughout and at least -cold comfort -her family were with her when she passed on.They had been prepared.

It's very sad Dris.
I knew his wife had been ill a few years ago because of this and had presumed she must have recovered.
Colin was a fine footballer and I'm sure he will show the strength of character he showed on the pitch for his 4 children.
I hope it sends out the message we are what we are and it's what is inside that matters.

Cheers Mighty -sad day and you are 100% right -she learnt too late poor soul.Have to say she learned from the first op -the rest were to maintain her life expectancy.
Poor Colin and the bairns -they were a tight family -unique in their business.
