I think that Kevin Pieterson was selfish in the extreme when he decided to play in the IPL earlier in the season instead of getting his achilles attended to which would have enabled him to complete the rest of the season free from worry. As it is he is now out of the Ashes and England's chances of regaining them have waned because of his selfishness and greed in chasing the money.

Yeah, I'm with Geezer on this one. It's a shame that it has to happen, but if any of us could secure our families' future with six weeks work, we'd all take it. And don't forget, Freddie went too.
