I am currently running a literary quiz for St. Guthlac's Ladies' Guild in Market Deeping. I find it very interesting to see where all the postal applications are coming from. The majority are from Yorkshire & Scotland. A few are from other locations but not one has come in from Wales so far.
Don't the people from Wales have time to sit down with a good quiz or aren't they interested?

DSJ....well trying changing it's name........St Guthlac's Ladies Guild is not going to get them dashing for their Biros is it..........sounds more like a new type of reinforced knickers for fat women.
Just put Ladies Guild Quizz.........that should do the trick.
Look under Quizzes & Puzzles in the List of Topics on the left of your screen. Or, if you are interested in details of my quiz, type in St. Guthlac's Ladies' Guild Literary Quiz on the Search bar.
Sqad, I am getting plenty of applications for my current quiz from ABers but strangely none from Wales this time. I think quizzers are quite familar with St. Guthlac's Ladies Guild quizzes as I have successfully advertised them on this site for the past three years, selling 984 copies of my last Mystery Theme quiz. We have not fat women & we do not wear large knickers!
For your information, St. Guthlac was an East Anglian who originated from I|reland & founded Crowland Abbey.
how do you know none of your quizzers are fat women who wear large knickers - just out of interest do you have to fill in an application form stating size and knicker preference?
I am now closing this thread. An innocent observation has attracted some silly responses latterly. I am still waiting for that first application from someone in Wales!
