Does anyone know how many players in the current World Cup teams play in the British Leagues, or have played in them previously? It does seem to be a lot!

Can't remember the exact number but there is more from the Prem than any other league according to one of the commentators at the opening ceremony (about 170 IIRC)

Considering that Liverpool had such a poor season in the Prem they have 12 Players involved in the World Cup with various Countries (3 with England)

There are some current 125 English based players, and about a dozen from Scotland.
