in both games was cr@p, why didn´t england react the same way as mexico did after?? Argentinas 1ºst goal which was a mile offside, englands 2nd goal was a yard over the line. Maybe the world cup is a fix after all.

but then they'd have still won if that had been disallowed or ours had been accepted. But I do feel we would have had more confidence after and it could have been alot different. But done now, I will still watch all the other games.
The protests of the Mexican players didn't change anything did it?
how peed off would england be if it did?
We deserved to lose today, Germany were the better team. But I detest the power that Sepp Blatter has. It's time technology has an input in Football, it was needed in both games today.
From what I saw England were well beaten by the better team but not necessarily by better players. Recently(8-10 years), England have not produced a team equal to the sum of its parts.

I bet 'arry could have got them playing as a team.

What was Emile Heskey doing on the pitch? (what was he doing in the squad?)
Sounds to me like sour grapes to blame the referee over the disallowed England goal. Unfortunately for him, his linesman on the far touchline was level with the 18 yard line, the ref himself was not positioned to make the decision that the ball had clearly crossed the line, therefore the "goal" couldn't be given. Slow motion replays and hindsight are wonderful things.

The Argentinian 1st goal was almost a replica situation, although the linesman was slightly closer, but still behind play. The ref had been left well behind the pace by a sudden change of direction of play. They're not machines, refs and linesmen.

I used to be a referee and I've run the line many a time, too. Very difficult, as well as thankless. They're only human like the rest of us, but at the moment they don't have the advantages of endless replays to establish fact. They only have their judgement, which is very fallible, just like mine - or yours, piggynose.
It's a fix.
1966...the ball doesn't cross the line...goal given, the ref and linesman's decision is enough for every England fan.
2010...the ball crosses the line...goal not given, the ref and the linesman's decision is not enough, England fans call for compulsory video replays...will England give back the cup from '66 if retrospective evidence proves the officials were wrong in BOTH games? Live with it!
