They put in a great bid and presentation -all credit to them.
Russia had it in the bag from word go-they didnt even have to try hard -politics are just as rife in sport :(

Can't believe we lost in first round. Why can't we be given the votes after each round, it's ridiculous!

I'm a little gutted as would have been nice to have it on home soil......perhaps take my two eldest sons and two daughters, and maybe in the future..... their grandchildren to a few games here.

Now i have to go to Russia to watch England, if we qualify that is.

I would have loved it as well Yogi -I was praying thery would get it but dont think they were ever in the running not through the want of trying though-shame :(
