just out of interest does anyone know what happened to the weather after we wrapped up the test before lunch? Did the promised rain arrive and if so how much play would have been lost?

Local paper says, and I quote"With an hour or so more resistance,Australia would have escaped the Adelaide Oval as England did at the Gabba, because forecast thunderstorms arrived by 2pm." Unquote.

altogether they would have had to bat out 50 overs (as it turned out, but htey only managed 19.
