Playing Sansa music files through PC

I have a Sansa Express mp3 player and used to be able to play the music through my PC and laptop. I tried to do this yesterday, but failed. Windows Media Player opened, as usual, but didn't recognise the file type - which now seems to ALB. I'm really perplexed about this and would like to know if I can un-ALB the files and put them back into something the PC, laptop and Sansa Express can all use!

Thanks for any advice you can offer.

From what I can gather, the ALB files contain the Album Art. The mp3 files should still be accessible on the device.

Thanks for the message, Rojash, but the mp3 files aren't visible. Any ideas from anybody of how to access them would be gratefully received!
