BAD IMAGE how can I clear this

Last night the computer was on when we had a power cut ,when I turned it back on ,a message appeared which seems to be for each individual programme ,the message in red says [X MPStar BAD IMAGE this is not part of the Windows etc] any ideas how I can clear this from the system.
