Hi,I have heard good reports about "picasa" and how easy photo sending via e-mail is etc, I am concerned that, as I have a lot of photo,s on my laptop would downloading "picasa" double the amount of space used up by duplicating all of the photo,s in my pictures for this program.

Picasa only "views" the pictures thru its interface, it does not make copies of them.

It is the same with all photo viewers, like Windows Photo Gallery as well, they are only VIEWING the pictures that are already on your hard disk, no extra copies are made.

I use DropBox to store all of my extra files on my desktop computer which I can access from anywhere. Give it a try.
