Lost tool bar.
I seem to have lost my toolbar that runs on top my screen. How do i get it back? Could you please answer in non-computer language as I'm a bit of a technology Luddite.

Firefox has not got a spell check on any toolbar so it was almost certainly the google toolbar spellcheck.
though you don't need any extra spell checks on firefox, it spellchecks as you type and underlines misspelt words in red for you, then all you have to do is right click on the underlined word and select the correct spelling. just make sure you have the British English dictionary installed.

While you were offline, I did a bit of digging around on the internet, and I came up with the following:
A. Press Alt key to temporarily show old style menus.
To show them permanently, right-click on an empty section of the tab strip and check Menu Bar in the pop-up menu.
B. Click View, then Toolbars, click Navigation Toolbar.
C. If Navigation Toolbar is hidden:
right-click on empty section of tab strip.
pop-up menu appears. Click Navigation Toolbar.
Try B first, it looks as if it might help.
