Beso:
Your choice to use IE is just as valid as any other choice. However most people who use IE do so only because that's what came with their computer and they're unaware of the alternatives.
Firefox 7 does seem to have fixed the problem of CPU-hogging (which was related to a piece of code which was designed to stop Firefox from crashing if, say, Flash Player crashed). Whereas there are stil loads of posts from people who find that IE won't display some website images properly.
Buenchico // most people who use IE do so only because that's what came with their computer and they're unaware of the alternatives. //
Perhaps so but dismissing a substantial group of people who actually do know of the alternatives but choose IE to support a claim that "Firefox is the most popular browser" is a somewhat prejudiced position.
Many people adopt an "if it ain't broke" attitude.
And I would like to again emphasise the fact that changing to Firefox from IE8/9 on Windows Vista/7 is a substantial downgrade of security. Only IE8/9 and Chrome use the full capabilities of Windows built in security in those operating systems to limit the access of an application to the file system.
