I have just had BT Infinity installed...

...and they recommend installing their BTNetProtectPlus (in association with McAfee) security software.This I tried to do half a dozen times and each time the installation process stopped.After much searching I found the answer on BT FAQs.This software is not compatible with IE9 which I run.Their answer is to uninstall IE9 and install IE8 !!!!...How mad is that......I'll stay with Microsoft Security Essentials, thanks very much.Oh btw BT Infinity is fantastically good. :-)

Well you did the first thing right ..
Even better would be to install a decent web browser such as Chrome or FireFox and forget about IE completely...

You know Mark I had Chrome on my last computer and for the life of me I couldn't get the toolbar to appear,obviously I was doing not doing something right but I don't know what.I'd like chrome again can you suggest where I was going wrong....
