Just to say thank you all for the help given to me in 2011 when I tied myself in knots trying to make sense of problems. Will try to be more intelligent in 2012 - but don't hold your breath!

Dont do yourself down.

Often it is nothing to do with intelligence but more to do with experience.

I work with computers day in day out, and have done for 30 years, so I know my way around them very well.

So just because I know how to do something on a computer and maybe you dont does not make me more intelligent than you, just more experienced.

When my car goes wrong I put it into a garage as I know little about cars. That does not make the person who fixes it more intelligent than me, just that he or she has "car" knowledge when I have "computer" knowledge.
