I have a music CD that has a couple of tracks that run into each other. I copied it onto disc with Media Player but there must be a default setting that puts a certain amount of seconds between tracks. Instead of the songs leading one into the other, there is a pause of about 3 or 4 seconds which ruins the effect. Can I override this? I don`t want to do it on all tracks, just chosen ones.

Media player has a default setting of 2 secs between tracks. You can override this to no gaps but it will apply to all tracks on the play list that you will have to burn. On media player go to organize (top left) then options then burn and tick burn without gaps.

Thanks for the reply Sonyme. I can`t see "organize" though.
Try pressing ctrl+m when you have media player open, it sounds like your menu bar is hidden.

Thanks daffy. All I get when I click that is the IE bar with File, Edit etc. I still can`t see anything that says Organize.
Have you tried the top left corner?
Question Author
Yes. Maybe I`ve just got an old version of Media Player. It came with the laptop in 2009.
I'm not sure if you can Download latest Version from Windows for free, worth a try.

Thanks Everhelpful. I might look into that. Alternatively I could copy the CD from itunes but I might run up against the same spacing problem. I have had few CDs over the years where the tracks run into each other. I`m surprised that nobody thought of that when they developed Media Player etc.
Good Luck.
