How do I get my BCC to show on my copies of email. Am using I.E.9.

I have obviously done some stupid thing, as they always used to be there. Any help appreciated. Thanks. B.

As Mark points out, your post doesn't make a great deal of sense since IE9 is a web browser, not an email client. If you're using a web-based email service we'd need to know the name of the provider. If (instead of using your web browser) you're actually using an email client (such as one of those mentioned by Mark) we'd need to know which one.

bcc means blind carbon copy, therefore if you put people as bcc, noone else sees them
if you mean you want to add bcc people but there's no box to put them in, who is your email client? (what program do you use to send your emaILS?)
Who's your email provider? As I.E.9 is your web Browser.
More to the point, are you using IE9 to access our email via your email provider's webmail service, or are you using a mail client such as Microsoft Outlook, Windows Live, Thunderbird etc...?

However, I'll take a guess. The most frequently-reported problem relating to 'Bcc' going missing refers to Outlook Express (or similar email clients). It's resolved by simply going to the 'View' menu and clicking on 'All Headers'. Does that help?

I wonder if the OP may have been wanting to keep it blind on the outgoing message but be able to see who he had sent BCCs to on his own copy in his sent box. I too would be interested to know if this is possible. I use Yahoo.

With Outlook Express (and similar clients) you can see who was in the Bcc field, when viewing 'Sent items', by going to 'Properties' and clicking the 'Details' tab.

If the email isn't actually open (i.e. it's simply listed in 'Sent Items') you access 'Properties' via right-clicking on the mail item

If the email has been opened (i.e. it's displayed in a window) you access 'Properties' from the 'File' menu.

The email provider is not relevant to the issue. What IS required is what software the OP is using to access the mailbox.

Many (most?) people using the BT version of Yahoo Mail access it via an email client, rather than by using a web browser.
do they? i only ask cause i always access mine in a web browser - can't afford outlook!

Thunderbird is free. It's from the same developers who created Firefox. If you're familiar with Outlook, or Outlook Express, you'll have no problems getting to grips with it:

All you then need is to know how to get it to work with BT Yahoo Mail. Easy peasy!

+actually i just have yahoo, not bt yahoo (whatever that is?!) Anyway, it's besides the point becaus ei like accessing it online rather than an outlook type *thing, but thanks :O_)/*-

Goodness, I have no idea what software and/or email client I use. I just switch on, launch internet and go! I had forgotten I had this query until I saw the original post and thought I might try and get an answer. I will experiment tomorrow. Thanks all.
