HP Printer...

Printer really - I've got a fairly new Printer/C/S it was bought for me at xmas. I'm not a great user but I like to print off letters, reciepts etc.
I find the size of the print is far too small (have to use mag/glass)
Even if the print on the screen is fairly big it prints off tiny.
I've looked through the instructions but can't find anything appertaining to the problem. Its an HP Deskjet 3050 Wireless.

I know we've got some wizz-kids on here, can any of you give me any idea what to do to enlarge the printout.

Ann, Thanks for the link I'll study it later I've got to start on the tea right now.
I've saved it in 'My Favourites' I'll let you know how I get on.

I don't know if this will help but if you go to "Format" in the program you are using to write your letter, etc. and tell it to make the page into A4 and also select a normal sized print, say 12. When you go to print the letter, make sure that the printer is also set to select A4 paper and you should get a decent replica of what you have written.
Maybe the printer is set to a smaller sized paper????

Incidentally Jem, If you are using Internet Explorer and printing out E-mails, then the e-mails get the size of print from I.E.
If the font is printing too small in the E-mail, try changing the font size in I.E. (View, Text Size)and then print the e-mail.
