I wish to change the password on my network (the one that anybody linking to my wireless router is required to enter).

How can I do this please?

Thanks in advance

You'll probably have to do this on the laptop you have, I'm not sure it will work from the desktop (with a USB connection)

Click the link below

Login using the details printed on the back of the superhub, click on the wireless settings button and you should be able to change the password there.

When you change the password...

Log into the router admin pages, goto the wireless settings, change the password.

If you tell us what the make and model of router is then it would be possible to give better directions.

It's a Virgin Superhub (30GB)

When you change the password you'll lose connection with the laptop and you'll have to reconnect to the wireless network with the new password.

Thanks Chuck, That did the trick!!
Hi - hope you don't think I'm hijacking this thread, but I've got exactly the same question. I tried clicking on that link but it doesn't work :(
My laptop uses Windows Vista. I'm on Virgin and the router is Netgear WGR614.
TIA :)

And your username and password to login is probably
Username: admin
Password: password
Thanks for the heads up chuck - trouble is I dunno what my user name and pasword are, cos they ain't "admin" and "password" ..... oh well :(
Look on the bottom of the router, but as it's a virgin router it may be

username: virgin
password: password

(note they are case sensitive)

If still no joy then resetting the router to factory settings may be the only option.
