i messenger on ipad 2

Go to settings, and software update.

Doing an update isn't going to install software that isn't there.

Search for it and install it from the app store...

Why not 'Facetime' your friends which works for free(just requires iPad2 and wireless network)?

It looks like its just another free messaging app. Not one that comes pre installed on the iPad. There are tones of them.
