CD to iTunes

I have tried importing a 17 track Steam Sounds CD to iTunes. I can see all of the tracks in iTunes after the import but when I click on each track they will not play, & also I have tried dragging the tracks into a new playlist without success. ( I am running Windows 7) can anyone help with this please.
