I have a new laptop and I am used to using a mouse instead of a touch one.
How do highlight and copy etc as I clicked on right button but no copy box came up ?
Hover where you need to copy, click and hold the left hand button, swipe the cursor acrss what you want to copy, this will highlight it. Click on the right hand button and choose copy. Hope I've got this right, doing it from memory, get a mouse, saves hassle.
It will take practise I have it now but sometimes it comes up with a bigger box with no copy on it. Thank you all for your help, methinks I will get a mouse x
Yes, if you click on a picture on a web page or in just a blank place or don't highlight, you will get a different set of options such as Back, Reload, Print, Save as...
sILKA...I ,too ,find it easier to use a mouse.Bought a wireless one from Argos for £6.99 ages ago.I just use it like one on a desktop PC.No problem copying and pasting, just imagine you are on a desktopPC.
BTW. Not all programs have context menus associated with highlighted text. However highlighted text can be copied to the clipboard almost universally using the <ctrl> + C keyboard shortcut.
