XPS720 INSURANCE REPLACEMENT "Any ideas"?
Hi ive had my insurance company inform me they are going to replace my Desktop on the "Like for Like" basis,
does anyone know any example/s of what replacement my desktop would be or does anyone have any idea what it would be replaced with please? my rig's spec follows:
Dell XPS720H2C
2 years old (Bought new of a company via Ebay)
x6 Gig DDR2 RAM
GTX560Ti Graphic card
Asus Zonar D1 Sound card
2 TB hard drive
Windows 7 Ult (64)
As there is no more XPS top of the range models just the basic to mid level ones (Not made anymore) i know dell now own Alienware & i was told by my insurance they would replace "Like for Like" i paid over £2000 for my pc any ideas please???

They would presume that you had all your important files backed up (preferably a full system back-up). If their reply fulfills your current requirements. then stay with it, but otherwise I would agree with Keith72.
