USB Port.

Does anybody know if there is anything that will convert a single USB port into a double USB port and if so what are they called. TIA.

USB hub. I have one. it contains 3 ports.

They're sold in most larger supermarkets (e.g Tesco and Asda). You can also offer find them in discount stores, such as Poundland.

You need to remember that a USB port provides power (at 5V DC) to whatever is plugged into it. Most USB devices will work via a standard hub but a few might not (because there's insufficient power available via the hub). If you experience problems with a standard ('passive') USB hub, you can buy a hub which comes with its own power supply:

I'd always go for the powered version.

Be aware USB comes in different versions. A 2.0 hub would probably be sufficient, but if you are plugging it into a 3.0 socket you may wish to consider a 3.0 version hub.
