Can someone please tell me how I can download Adobe Reader.?

I had 7 but I got a message come uo to say about downloading update one, 11 I think it was but I couldnt download because I still had the old one on. Now I have delated that one I cannot get the updated one. Can anyone help please.?

1) Uninstall any previous version of Adobe Reader.

I can't help with your specific question other than suggest you go to the Adobe site directly and try to download.

Most people on here recommend the Foxit Reader as better than Adobe.

Adobe reader updater normally deleats the old version and installs the new one automatically. You get a message to say an update is available and just click on it.

I did as MarkRae suggested the other day, after having problems with Adobe Reader, and downloaded and installed the Foxit Reader.

I'm very pleased with how easy it was to do, and have no problems in reading PDF files. A great program.

I agree, I now use foxit reader following lots of problems with adobe and it works a treat

I should point out that I never had any 'problems' with Adobe Reader but I do find Foxit faster and better.

In consideration of Marks advice, I have uninstalled Adobe Reader and replaced it with Foxit.

I am now wondering if also I should remove 'Adobe Flash Player and install something else. The question then would be "With what"?
