Hard Drive

I'm using windows 7 and getting a Ext Hard Drive I wonder is there a way that my photo's could be put into the ext drive the same time as they go into My Pictures when using the camera mem card

what happens with us is that the photos are saved on the computer (My Pictures) then every time the external hard drive backs up, they are saved there took. Our external hard drive backs up all the time.

Thank you Boxtop I'll will make sure the HD I get has got auto backup built in I didn't know there was such a thing

Hi, what you want is software to do folder synchronisation. There are several options, depending on what you want exactly (free or paid) and totally automatic vs manual.

Syncback has a good reputation, and has free and paid option: http://www.2brightspa...yncback/compare.html.

DSynchronize will automatically synchronise:
http://dimio.altervista.org/eng/. I've not used it personally so can't vouch for it, but it's worth a try.

I use Synctoy myself. It's very easy, decent interface and is from Microsoft so has nothing nasty in it and comes in both 32 and 64 bit versions:
