Computer Shutting Down
I have a Mesh computers CUTE PC and have recently had problems with it shutting down on me, this used to happen once in a while but is now more frequent normally when im on websites that stream. Previously ive had 2 fatal errors on the hard drive but have managed to work around this although now and again on start up I have to reboot until it seems that the computer has warmed up!!
I have taken off the case and cleaned the fans and have disconnected and reconnected all wires
My question is-is it repairable and if so how? or should I simply look to get a new pc?
Thanks in advance

Until you mentioned the hard drive issues I was going to suggest downloading speedfan and checking how hot your processor etc. was getting. I suspect streaming video may cause consistent load/heating over a prolonged period. You can, of course, replace a hard drive, or other components such as the power supply, but if you are getting multiple failures maybe that's not the way to go. How old is the PC ? How far away from the standard spec for today ?
Using Windows, if so what version?
Have you run diskcheck?
In 'My Computer' right click on HDD select Properties/Tools/Error checking in the window that pops up make sure theres a 'tick' in the Automatically fix file system errors box and then click Start. Windows will then say cannot check disk do you want to schedule disk check on next boot? Agree then shut down and cold boot your pc.
With a large HDD it will take a long time, so I'd let it run overnight.

Agreed. Try to fix the hard drive first. Otherwise you aren't starting from a stable foundation.
Once that is solved you could try speedfan anyway, see if the temperatures seem ok.
Probably worth running malware and virus scans to be on the safe side.
There are memory checking software out there too. Worth finding one you can boot off a CD to check memory's ok.
After than... well it may be a case of replacing things on spec to see if it solves anything. And expert can probably do better than that with a meter and manual, but unless you take it somewhere to be fixed ... I'd wonder about the supply at that point. I trust it is powerful enough for all you have connected ?
