Laptop Recommendations
3 Answers
I need to buy a new laptop computer for my wife. What would people recommend are the best buys out there at the moment? Things have moved on a bit since 2006 when the Fujitsu we have dates from. We just use it for basic browsing. She uses it for some shopping and ordering photobooks/cards etc. Not for heavy music/gaming or photo usage. Thanks

Any core i3 laptops under £300 will do the job. But do not walk in PC World and buy those budget laptops i.e Advent and Ei Systems. Go for major brands.
Having said that I never bought a brand new computer since 2000. I personally think it's a waste of money to spend anything over £300, unless you plan to do heavy graphic work with it.
